I built TithingCalc.com because I wanted a tithe calculator that actually got out of the way and let me do the math.

Most tithe calculators I found online were either buried inside multi-calculator aggregator sites with dozens of unrelated tools, or they came wrapped in newsletter signups, pop-ups, and sidebars full of content that had nothing to do with the simple question I was trying to answer: how much should I give this pay period?

So I built this one. It's fast, it's free, and it doesn't ask for your email, your name, or anything else. All the math runs in your browser — no income data is ever sent to a server or stored anywhere.

No Denominational Position

One of the things I was careful about when building this tool is that it doesn't take a side on the questions that genuinely divide thoughtful believers. Should you tithe on gross or net income? What percentage is right? These are matters of personal conviction, and different traditions teach different things about them.

This calculator is built to serve all of those positions equally. You can enter gross income, net income, or both. You can set any percentage. The side-by-side comparison feature exists to give you information, not to nudge you toward one answer. Accuracy and Care

The calculations on this site are straightforward multiplication — income times percentage, scaled across pay frequencies. I've tested them thoroughly and work to keep everything accurate. That said, this tool provides estimates for informational purposes only. It isn't financial, tax, or religious advice.
